Dr. Jiang received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. After completing the medical physics residency in June 2021, he was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of Maryland School of Medicine. Currently, he works as a medical physicist at both the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) and the Division of Translational Radiation Science (DTRS). At UMMS, he is involved in clinical physics activities and conducting clinical physics research. At DTRS, he provides physics support on kV irradiators (XRAD-320 and SARRP) and small-animal imaging for the translational research group.
