An avid learner and researcher trying to understand the basic phenomenon of the immune system in health and disease. I did my PhD in immunology from the University of Tokushima, Japan in 2014. After completing my PhD, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Officer at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute (UQDI), Australia. As a postdoc at UQDI, my research primarily focused on fundamental and translational research favoring interdisciplinary cutting-edge techniques, aimed at therapeutic intervention for Rheumatoid Arthritis. After my first postdoc, I served as an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology at North South University, Bangladesh. With more than twelve years of working experience in immunology and molecular biology of autoimmune and infectious diseases, currently, I am working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). My present research at UMB focuses on the molecular mechanisms underpinning the gestational diabetes induced embryopathy and birth defect. I co-authored several articles in reputed high impact journals and presented my research at international conferences. I envision becoming a successful life scientist and contributing to global health care.
