Gopal Bajaj, MD

Dr. Bajaj is a practicing radiation oncologist with Radiation Oncology Associates PC and is chair and medical director of Radiation Oncology for the Inova Schar Cancer Research Institute. In his Visiting Professor role at Maryland he is associated with the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC). Through an affiliate agreement, he treats patients at MPTC referred from his institutions and geographic area and sees additional patients referred back to his institution from the center. His participation at MPTC expands the mid-Atlantic community reach of proton therapy, ensuring that the largest number of patients have access to this life-saving technology.
