Neurology Residency Program

The residency program of the Department of Neurology of the University of Maryland provides a superb, ACGME approved, educational experience for our neurology trainees. Our neurology residents receive a broad inpatient and outpatient clinical neurology experience, dedicated education time with an extensive didactic series, and many opportunities to pursue research and other scholarly activities.

By the end of the residency, our trainees are well prepared to succeed in any of the many career options available to neurologists today, and our graduates have been very successful in going on to fellowships and careers in many different fields.
