Endocrinology Clinician/Educator (03-309-1253)
The Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Baltimore VA Medical Center is seeking an experienced physician to expand our clinical endocrinology enterprise at the Baltimore VA Medical Center. While clinical responsibilities are expected to be primarily at the VA, clinical services at one of our affiliated clinical sites will also be expected. Opportunities are available for research and are encouraged. Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and salary will be dependent on selected candidate’s qualifications.
Expected salary range for Assistant Professors is $169,988 (min) and $260,000 (max). The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the departmental faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental variable compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department.
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

Ideal candidates will possess outstanding clinical skills with a strong commitment and experience in patient care and teaching. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), board eligibility/certification in Endocrinology, and all candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. Additionally, because this position is funded (in part) by the VA Medical Center, all applicants must be US citizens.

Clinical Endocrinologist (3-309-1141)
The University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking a full-time academic endocrinologist for our expanding programs. Initially, clinical duties will include both inpatient and telemedicine consultative program located at the University of Maryland St Joseph Medical Center. Over time, development of an endocrinology outpatient program will be anticipated. Opportunities are available for research and are encouraged.
Successful candidates will possess outstanding clinical skills with a strong commitment and experience in patient care and teaching. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), board eligibility/certification in Endocrinology, and all candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Maryland.
Expected faculty rank for this position is at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with candidate's qualifications and experience.
