Academic Nephrologist (3-309-1091)

The Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking applicants for full-time clinical faculty position at the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Downtown Campus.  Duties include providing comprehensive clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings to patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease including chronic outpatient dialysis patients.

Faculty participation in multidisciplinary meetings, and teaching students, residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs.  In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, the candidate will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical research.

Successful candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.  Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required as instruction of medical residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs.
