Academic Nephrologist (3-309-1159)
The Nephrology Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is expanding our clinical programs at the Downtown and Midtown locations. In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, this position will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical research.
Successful candidates must have received their MD degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent), be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and eligible to obtain an independent medical license in the State of Maryland. Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required as instruction of medical residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs. Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with experience, although we anticipate the position will be as Assistant Professor or higher.

Expected faculty rank for all positions is Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience.
