2020 School of Medicine Gala:
The Promise of Compassion and Innovation in Medicine

The entire University of Maryland School of Medicine community honored that promise as we battled the COVID-19 pandemic that shook the entire world. As we continue to fight, we want to take a night to recognize the hard work and compassion displayed by our faculty, staff, students, donors, and friends. It was truly an example of being Stronger Together.

This year’s gala was held virtually on Saturday, August 29, 2020. The video and program are below. The gala honored the heroes and heroines who worked proactively on the things we could control while aiming to keep our work and our world moving.
