Faculty and Staff

Dedicated to the Mission

faculty member treating patientAt the core of all that happens at the School of Medicine - from everyday triumphs to worldwide achievements - are our more than 2,600 faculty members and the 2,400 in staff who support them. These men and women provide knowledge and mentorship to physicians-in-training, lead research efforts that prompt new discoveries and offer the best in care to patients. And they believe strongly in their work.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to advancing the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, now and into the future, and many have elected to demonstrate their commitment through a personal gift.
