A mosquito in a video game

The Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health (CVD) is exploring innovative ways to prevent malaria - an illness caused by a parasite transmitted by mosquitoes. This study is a first-in-human phase 1 trial of an mRNA-based malaria vaccine. We are looking for 13 healthy adult participants aged 18 to 55 years to be enrolled at CVD Baltimore. Intramuscular injections will be administered 3 times over 6 months. Total participation time will last approximately 19 months.

We hope to advance development of this new and highly promising malaria vaccine. If you are interested in participating in the research study, please call 410-706-8800.
