Pre-Doctoral Graduate Training Fellowships

The Molecular Signaling and Structure Training Program (MSSTP) is designed to provide graduate training at the interface between molecular signal transduction and cell and protein structure.

This prestigious program accepts graduate students in their second and third years of study. It provides two years of salary (stipend) support to enable capable students to pursue innovative research work in the laboratory of their thesis advisor. The program also provides health insurance coverage and financial support to permit students to present their research findings at scientific meetings. Specialized academic courses are designed to enhance the students expertise in cell signaling and structural biology.

Fellowships are available for US citizens and permanent residents. This University of Maryland School of Medicine-based program currently supported by the Graduate Program in Life Sciences of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and the University of Maryland Graduate School.

To obtain information, interested student applicants should contact Ms. Kathleen Reinecke (MSSTP Coordinator)
