Archive of 2002 Inaugural Symposium
A generous endowment from Drs. Abass and Jane Alavi to the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine made possible the Inaugural Alavi-Bradley Symposium, which was held on May 24, 2022 and featured a keynote address by Dr. Abass Alavi. Dr. Zaver Bhujwalla from Johns Hopkins University and Dr. Dan Vigneron from University of California San Francisco were the plenary speakers. Additional speakers at the symposium were Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi, Dr. Huang-Chiao (Joe) Huang, Dr. Sui-Seng Tee, Dr. Gene-Jack Wang, Dr. Piotr Walczak, and Dr. Akiva Mintz.
Poster presentations provided the opportunity for attendees to showcase their research and network with other symposium participants. Attendees were encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentations and opt-in to have their abstracts scored. Those that received the best scores were invited to give oral presentations at the symposium.
Awards were given for outstanding abstracts.
