Post Logon Popup Application

The SOM IS Department deploys the Post Logon Popup Application to all SOM IS Supported domain connected PCs.  The popup includes the SOM logo, password expiration date/time and helpful links to the SOM IS Website, UMB IT Policies, SOM Password Management Self-Service Application and how to contact the SOM IS Help Desk for help.  The popup occurs shortly after logon and can be closed manually by choosing the “Close” button or the “x” at the top-right hand corner of the screen.  If not closed manually, it will close automatically after 20 seconds.  This same Post Logon Popup Application is also available at all times in the system tray notification area shown below.

Password Protected Screen Saver

SOM IS Supported Domain PCs have a password protected screen saver setting configured to activate after after 30 minutes of inactivity.  The screen saver is set to a blank screen if a screen saver is currently not configured on the machine.  If the machine already has a screen saver configured, the picture/pattern configured will stay the same.

Logon Banner

SOM IS Supported Domain PCs have a logon banner presented when the machine boots up.  The logon banner displays the computer acceptable use policies and must be accepted before logon can occur.  Text is as follows:
