Skype for Business
Skype for Business is a powerful collaboration tool that is available to all active SOM Staff, Faculty and Students. Skype for Business is part of the Microsoft Office 2016 Suite on both Windows computers/PC's and Apple Macintosh (MAC). There is also a Skype for Business app available for all major mobile device (smart phone) platforms (please visit the App Store on your device to download).
For the best experience with using Skype for Business, the SOM Office of Information Services highly recommends that your machine has Microsoft Office 2016 as the only Office suite application installed.

Considerations for Mac Users
The Mac version of Skype for Business must be downloaded via the O365 portal or through Microsoft's website. Unlike the PC version of Office 2016, Skype for Business is NOT included with the basic installation. After installation, ensure your SOM credentials are entered in the two boxes shown below
