Douglas F. Zatzick, MD, Professor and Associate Vice Chair for Health Services, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science, University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA, will present “Developing and Implementing Randomized Effectiveness Trials Targeting PTSD after Traumatic Physical Injuries in Non-Specialty Mental Health Settings" on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. The lecture will be held from 8:30am until 9:50am in the Southern Management Campus Center, Conference Room 351. A continental breakfast will be served beforehand.

Beyond the Orange Jumpsuit
The 18th annual Cultural Diversity Day will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 8:30am until 4:30pm in the MSTF auditorium, 685 W. Baltimore Street. This year's theme is "Beyond the Orange Jumpsuit: The Culture of Incarceration." Panel sessions include "Prison Culture & Mental Illness: An Unfortunate Mix" and "Media Portrayal of Prison Life and Culture." Breakfast and lunch will be served. The University of Maryland School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
