Women's Mental Health Program

The Department of Psychiatry established the Women’s Mental Health Program in 2016 to treat women and promote the welfare of their babies throughout all stages of pregnancy.

The program pools together our best resources, including psychiatrists and mental health specialists – whose expertise range from reproductive mental health to mother-child relationships to addictions in pregnancy.

The collaborative effort involves the Divisions of Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ADA), Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Community, and Consultation-Liaison – all within the Department of Psychiatry; as well as the Departments of Family Medicine, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics
