After graduating medical school from The Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Zeiter stayed in Baltimore to complete her pediatric residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She continued her education at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she completed her fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Prior to joining the University of Maryland, she was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut. She participated in clinical practice, as well as educational and administrative duties at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford Connecticut.
Special interests include: Care of children with special needs/neurologic disorders, Management of Short bowel syndrome, Nutrition, Functional intestinal disorders, Inflammatory bowel disease, General pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
