Education and Training
Alan Sheyman, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. Dr. Sheyman received his medical degree in 2010 from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his Ophthalmology residency in 2014 at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, followed by a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Sheyman’s practice is focused on the medical and surgical management of retinal diseases including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, retinal detachments, and macular diseases.
