Biosketch

After finishing my medical education I started training in surgery. I did reserach at the surgical research lab at Johns Hopkins University with emphasis to wound healing and esophageal reflux before moving to New York for residency. While there I developed an interest in vascular and interventional radiology. I pursued a fellowship in interventional radiology and then did a fellowship in body imaging before completing my radiology residency in Miami. I moved back to Baltimore and did a fellowship at University of Maryland with emphasis on interventional oncology before joining faculty.

Presently, my practice includes all facets of interventional oncology including TACE, TARE, percutaneous thermal and IRE ablative techniques as well as other IR procedures including TIPS, hepatobiliary interventions, UFE's and transradial access for elective and emergent endovascular procedures.

Research/Clinical Keywords

Interventional Oncology. Percutaneous Thermal Ablation. IRE, TIPS, TACE, TARE, UFE, Transradial access.
