AAAS Career Development Portal
We are pleased to announce that the University of Maryland School of Medicine GPILS Office of Career Development and the University of Maryland Baltimore Graduate School are now partnering with AAAS Career Development to provide you with STEM-focused, online courses in topics such as networking, preparing for a job interview, how to work in diverse teams and more. To augment programs offered at the University of Maryland, Baltimore the Career Development Open Access Portal will give you access to all courses in the AAAS catalog. These courses are designed specifically to support you as you choose and follow your career path.

Responsible Conduct in Research Training
Together with the Office of Accountability and Compliance, we are offering RCR Training for our postdocs. Sessions are held twice per month and cover a variety of topics in research ethics. An Introduction to Evidence-Based Undergraduate STEM Learning by CIRTL
A six week online course to equip future STEM faculty with tools to be effective teachers, thus improving the learning experience of their future students. We will be hosting learning communities to further enrich the learning experience. This course will also assist your application for the Collaborate Teaching Fellows Program. Learning sessions will be in BRB 1-008 on Wednesdays from 11:30 am -12:30 pm on the following dates:
