All completed application packets, international and domestic, are reviewed by the Admissions Committee and receive equal consideration. From these completed applications, the committee invites the applicant to participate in an interview. These students are scheduled to meet with select faculty and tour the facilities, during which time applicants are given the opportunity to discuss their career goals. Admissions are selected from these students.
The department has no financial aid available for Master's students. Independent of the department, students may secure their own financial support through other sources such as scholarships, personal funds and student loans. Students requiring financial assistance to pursue their academic goals are encouraged to contact the UMB Office of Financial Aid to learn more about such options.
