Health Sciences and Human Services Library
The Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HS/HSL) provides collections and services for campus students, faculty and staff, as well as for the University of Maryland Medical System. The Library also serves as the Regional Medical Library for the Southeastern/Atlantic Region in the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) National Network of Libraries of Medicine. The library's electronic resources can be accessed within the library or from home or offices via the World Wide Web at www.hshsl.umaryland.edu.
This state-of-the-art facility, which opened in 1998, provides wireless access, over 900 seats, 1500 data connections, 40 study rooms, three microcomputer classrooms, and a distance education center.
