Academic Nephrologist (Position 3-309-945)

The Nephrology Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has an opening for our expanding clinical programs on our nephrology, dialysis and transplant services.  In addition to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, the candidate will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical research. This position requires an MD degree from a recognized accredited university (or foreign equivalent), and candidates must be eligible for an independent Maryland medical license.  Successful candidates must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.  Excellent clinical and teaching skills are also required, as instruction of medical residents and fellows is integral to our clinical programs.   In addition, because this position will be funded, in part, by the Veterans Administration, all candidates must be US citizens.  Faculty rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with experience, although we anticipate the position will be as an Assistant Professor or higher.

Academic Nephrologist (Position number 03-309-938)

The Nephrology Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has an opening for a non-tenure track faculty member with primary interest in transplant for our expanding clinical programs on our nephrology, transplant and dialysis services.  In additional to inpatient and outpatient clinical services, the candidate will also be expected to be involved in focused basic/clinical resarch.
