EPH Funding Figures
The Department of Epidemiology and Public Health continued to show an increase in research funding in FY2012. For the last six years, from FY07 to FY12, research funding has steadily grown as shown in the graph below. Total research funding in FY12 was $34,420,947, an increase of 45% from $23,650,478 in FY11. This increase exceeded our projection of 7.5% growth in research funding. Funding from the National Institutes of Health comprises the largest funding source for the department.
