Admissions - Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications for consideration are: 2.5 GPA for the 60 prerequisite credits. (Note: Course grades of "D" or below or pass/fail will not be transferable.)

  • Submission of an official application packet.

  • Only official paper transcript(s) accepted. 

  • Two professional letters of recommendation from either:

    • Two science instructors OR
    • One science instructor and one employer

  • Personal Statement of goals and/or objectives.

  • Application fee. Check payable to University of Maryland-DMRT.

  • In-State Residency Application.

Foreign-trained applicants must have their records evaluated by a recognized evaluation service such as:
