The Baltimore Regional Alliance for the Vaccine Effort (BRAVE) within the Institute of Human Virology

An initiative of the Institute of Human Virology Vaccine Trials Unit, BRAVE supports the units efforts to develop an HIV vaccine through partnerships with communities, scientists, professional staff and others affected by HIV. BRAVE strives to provide prevention education and outreach, build partnerships between the scientific and local communities, promote HIV vaccine trials with uninfected individuals and provide referrals for individuals infected and affected by HIV.
